#1 -- Hellooooo Halloween Brews
Since the start of the month, distributors have been rolling in with all kinds of Halloween themed goodies. We recently got our claws on Off Label Brewery’s Nightmare on 1st Street, which is a deliciously spicy imperial Pumpkin Ale made with hints of ginger, clove and cinnamon. Look out though, each one of these babies is 9.27% ABV. Other notable Texas brews we’ve happily stocked our cooler with includeIndependence Brewery’s Reaper Madness, Karbach Brewery’s Krunkin Pumpkin & No Label Brewery’s Black Wit O.
#2 -- Pumpkin Carving
In years past, our bartenders would pick a day near Halloween when they would come in early & carve pumpkins to decorate around the bar. It’s always been a really fun tradition we enjoy doing together with our staff. This year, we’ve decided to let our patrons in on the pumpkin carving fun!
On Saturday, October 24th, we’ll be getting into the Halloween spirit with a Pumpkin Carving Contest! We’re setting up a big carving station in the front yard, complete with pumpkins, carving tools & trashcans between 3pm-9pm. Carve a pumpkin & enter to win yourself a $50 bar tab! The best pumpkin will take all. Winner will be notified via email. You do not have to be present to win.
#3 -- Halloween Parties
Going to a Halloween costume party is presumably THE BEST thing about the holiday for adults. It’s a chance to rip off your tie, or kick off your high heels to be someone totally different for the night. This year, dress up & celebrate at our 5th Annual Haunted Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31st starting at 9pm. We’ll deck the bar out, have spooky cocktails on special & host a costume contest with cash prizes of $200, $100 & $75 for first, second & third place consecutively.
Not sure what you’re in for? Check out the photos from last year’s party. We had a great crowd and some really impressive costumes that you won’t want to miss.
