Since the eighteenth century, Americans have held the tradition of digging through their closets for green gear to wear in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, held annually on March 17th.
Guys tend to pick the classic, “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” shirt, in hopes of getting game without the threat of a smack in the face, while girls squeeze into their most revealing green get-ups.
But why?
Is it that we truly feel our Irish heritage, and wish to feast in honor of good ole St. Patrick himself?
No. It's the green beer, the Irish music playing in the background while you pound your third Irish Car Bomb, and that moment at the end of the night when your best friend swears they've seen leprechauns.
This year, let the drunken debauchery commence in the front yard of The Hangar! We’ll bring out our giant games like Beer Pong, Connect Four & Jenga for the day. Plus have green beer, and all your Irish favorites like Jameson & Guinness on special.
As it happens, St. Paddy's also lands on our monthly 3rd Thursday Craft Beer Tasting so we'll also be hosting a very special Irish themed beer and whiskey tasting during the festivities.
Entry into The Hangar on St. Paddy's will be FREE, but if you want to partake in our Irish Beer & Whiskey Tasting from 7pm-9pm it will cost ya $10 bucks. Admission to the tasting includes the following 10 Irish beer samples + 3 Irish whiskey samples, light snacks & a raffle ticket.
