Kick off the weekend with your best friend-- those with two and four legs! Yes-- you, your "buds" and your pet are invited to “Yappy Hour”. It's Friday from 3-7 at The Hangar Bar and Grill. The dog park will be open and the water bowls will be filled for free!!! You'll get a discount if you make a donation to San Antonio Pets Alive.

Yappy Hour: Pups need plenty of socializing, too. Take your pooch to The Hangar Bar & Grill's dog park and donate to San Antonio Pets Alive!, which will earn you discounts on your bill. Patrons who donate up to $20 to the organization will receive 20 percent off their tab. Don't have a canine companion? SAPA will have your future best friend available for adoption on site. On Friday, August 7 The Hangar Bar (8203 Broadway, 210-824-2700) and San Antonio Pet's Alive! (4710 Hwy. 151, 210-370-7612) will be partnering in an effort to raise money for the animal shelter. The Hangar Bar will be hosting the "Yappy Hour" fundraising event between 3 and 7 p.m., and for those of you who actually need an incentive to help out the pups there will be a special deal. For donating $10 a customer will receive 10 percent off their bill, and those who donate $20 or more will earn 20 percent off of their check.
Feel free to plan a dinner-date with your dog at The Hangar's Dog Park, but if your dog stands you up you don't need to worry; other dogs will be available on site for adoption. Show them some love. |
