On Friday, August 7 The Hangar Bar (8203 Broadway, 210-824-2700) and San Antonio Pet's Alive! (4710 Hwy. 151, 210-370-7612) will be partnering in an effort to raise money for the animal shelter. The Hangar Bar will be hosting the "Yappy Hour" fundraising event between 3 and 7 p.m., and for those of you who actually need an incentive to help out the pups there will be a special deal. For donating $10 a customer will receive 10 percent off their bill, and those who donate $20 or more will earn 20 percent off of their check.
Feel free to plan a dinner-date with your dog at The Hangar's Dog Park, but if your dog stands you up you don't need to worry; other dogs will be available on site for adoption. Show them some love.
