If there’s anyone you can trust to tell ya how to cure a hangover, it’s a bartender. We’ve had our fair share of experiences of hitting the bottle a little too hard & can guarantee that these five taco dives are sure to give you the perfect amount of greasy, deliciousness to cure that headache!
Rolando's Super Tacos
919 W Hildebrand Ave. San Antonio, Texas 78201
With their mugs proclaiming "Jesus is Lord!" and their misspelt mural of a Biblical quote from "the Book of Jhon," Rolando's both saves and entertains. (But, alas... They won't sell you a mug if you give off a heathen vibe, such as myself.)
Las Salsas
2018 San Pedro Ave. San Antonio, Texas 78212
Like a beacon in the night, Las Salsas will guide you back to sobriety at all hours during the darkest of hours—or, at least 24/7 from Thursday until Sunday.
Taqueria Datapoint
4063 Medical Dr. San Antonio, Texas 78229
I used to frequent this spot with my ex-manfriend the morning after we bar hopped. Their super hot salsa burns almost as much as your abandonment, Craig.
Titos
955 S Alamo St. San Antonio, TX 78204
Located a few hundred feet from the Friendly Spot and the Liberty Bar, Titos has a hefty supply of the meat, cheese, and carbs that you'll need to power through the pain. Pop some Advil and get yourself some migas, son.
El Milagrito Cafe
521 E Woodlawn Ave. San Antonio, TX 78212
This is personally my favorite haunt on the morning after a crazy night. Even if the salsa strangely resembles marinara and the cheese has an odd neon glow, El Milagrito has never failed to cure my hungover woes...kind of.
If grub from a sketchy taco shack doesn't cut it for you, The Hangar can provide you with the hair of the dog that bit you -- $1 mimosas & $10 bottomless brunch -- on Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00am 'til 4:00pm. Hallelujah!
