Butterflies in your stomach? Sweaty palms? A little nervous?
The dream of reuniting with your one true love, beer, is back! At last with San Antonio celebrating Oktoberfest, anyway. Here are a few signs that you have found your one true Oktoberfest brew:
#1) You catch yourself staring
Studies say that your eyes say a lot about how you feel about someone, or something. When you are in love, your eyes involuntarily fixate themselves on the object of your affections. So, when you're walking down the isle of H-E-B and you catch yourself lingering at the beer section “just to look,” own up...you're in love!

#2) You can't stop thinking about them
In the beginning of your new found beer-lationship you may find yourself not being able to thinking about how that hop tasted or smelt. If your new favorite Oktoberfest brew has become your latest obsession, you're definitely in love.

#3) You feel high
If you find yourself not being able to stop talking about that one new Oktoberfest beer that danced its way into your life, then you're probably suffering from a hop-diction. A sure sign, that that euphoric feeling you have when you take the first sip, is true love.

#4) You can't keep your hands off each other
Just as you hunt down food when you are hungry, you may find yourself just as eager to make your way to your closest growler station, or bar to grab that one beer who got away. We can not resist the urge to touch our beloved brew.

Did the majority of these statements pretty much hit home with you?
Have no fear friends, your love for beer and Oktoberfest is perfectly normal! After all, Oktoberfest originally started as a wedding celebration in 1810, when the citizens of Munich were invited to witness and commemorate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen.
The original festival closed out with royal horse races, but over the years the festivities grew to include carousels, swings, food booths, and small beer stands. Beginning in 1896 the beer stands became larger, and beer tents beer were added to host more fair festivities.
Now in 2016, we're ringing in the 183rd Oktoberfest right here in San Antonio, TX at The Hangar! This year, we've got two opportunities for you celebrate.
